WHY SHOULD I PROTECT MY SKI OR SNOWBOARD?

Equipment can get damaged during transportation and storage. Edges can be cracked or dented, which can slow you down. Damage can allow water to seep in then freeze, causing the damage to grow. Protecting your equipment prevents damage from happening, which saves you the time and expense of repairing or replacing your equipment.

IF I DON'T PROTECT MY EDGE AND IT GETS DAMAGED, CAN IT BE REPAIRED?

It's possible to repair a board, but it's difficult and time-consuming to do-it-yourself (1, 2, 3) or the cost of a repair will likely exceed what you'd invest in an edge wrap...and it will still never be the same as it was before.

Edge wraps should be in place when you are transporting or storing your equipment. For example:

before tossing into the back of your car, truck, or SUV
when packing into a travel bag before a flight
anytime you store it in the closet, garage, attic, etc.
simply when sitting on the rack in front of the lodge while you grab lunch!
